Starting this Thursday a new express bus service will run between Cardiff International Airport and Cardiff city centre. This service will run every 20 minutes for 7 days a week, from early morning to late at night.

This service will be funded by the Welsh government and was developed between the Vale of Glamorgan and Cardiff councils.

While the existing bus links where criticised for lack of frequency, Cardiff bus recently announced it was scrapping the X91 service due to lack of demand.

This new service will feature leather seating, climate control, WiFi, extra luggage space and improved on board information. The express bus service will stop at Cardiff Bus Station and Cardiff Bay – tickets will be £5 for a single and £8 for a return with reductions for children and free for concessionary bus pass holders.
